ROYAL OAK, Mich. – Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a Ford F-150 pickup truck that plowed into an apartment building in Royal Oak. Cow lassoed while running through traffic in middle of I-75 in Oakland County

Shelby Township family raising money for boy with rare cancer

A Shelby Township family is raising money for a young boy undergoing treatment for a rare cancer. Brooke Mclnerney, on behalf of her family, has launched a GoFundMe for her nephew Beckett Fowler, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (ATRT), a rare, and aggressive tumor that occurs in the brain and/or spinal cord. Beckett is getting treatment in Tennessee at St. Jude’s.

Business owner forced to set up defenses to protect customers from crashes on Detroit’s west side

DETROIT – Crashes have become so common at one Detroit intersection a business owner has been forced to set up some defenses to protect his customers. Those efforts proved to be no match during the latest collision, caught on video Tuesday (March 28). The intersection is Grand River Avenue and Warwick Street, just west of the Southfield Freeway, where Grand River Auto Muffler and Complete Auto Repair have seen many crashes. DETROIT – A suspect riding a bike ended up stealing a tow truck and crashing it into a warehouse in Detroit. The incident occurred Wednesday (Feb. 8) evening at Holbrook Auto Parts on 6 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue when the tow truck driver tried to pick up a woman’s car. Police take escaped inmate back into custody in Wayne County

WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – A Wayne County Jail escapee has been taken back into custody. Police say a 26-year-old man was being taken into custody for domestic violence and parole violation. And while he was being processed, the man made his escape through a window and fled. The escapee was on the run for about one and a half hours before he was captured and brought back to the Wayne County Jail.

85-year-old man rescued after downed powerline leads to fire in Roseville Local 4 has seen the danger firsthand of downed power lines as a senior citizen was rescued after a home went up in flames in Roseville. The rescue took place Tuesday afternoon on Masonic between Kelly Road and Gratiot. The senior citizen’s home was burned to the ground, but thanks to his neighbors, he is still alive.
